Borosilicate fireproof glass is superior to traditional safety glass. It is an innovative application of borosilicate glass developed by float process. In a certain range of temperature , It shows longer fire resistance, and lower breakage rates, and this makes it more suitable for big size glass. It has excellent transparency at extreme temperatures: in the event of a fire with limited visibility, it saves lives and protects property.
Product Features:
1. The chemical composition of borosilicate can prevent the formation of susceptor sulfide (NiS) crystals, there is no self-explosion of glass, and no need for heat soak treatment.
2. The time of fire resistance can be is 30-120 minutes at a high temperature of 1000ºC.
3. Compared with traditional safety glass, the weight of borosilicate fireproof glass can be reduced by 5% under the same size and specification.
